                                                                    "AFTER VERSAILLES"

"This collection holds a very special place in my heart as it was my first collection of jackets.
In a way, I wanted to honor my mother. Versailles was just as important to her as it was to me:
for her, because she spent the first ten years of her life living in Paris; and for me,
because I have always felt a deeply cosmic nostalgia for that country.

It is no secret that I learned to sew — and am still learning — just three years ago.
Yet, surprisingly, my very first stitches emerged naturally among lace and embroidery.
That Rococo era is in my blood: sensitivity, a past life... I don't really know. But I did know
how to bring it all together until it softened my soul.

Destiny, coincidence, whatever it was, it led me to this collection.
The restoration of something once severed. The softness of an embroidered velvet,
or the cool touch
of a silk sheet over a bare body.
«All leads me to thee» — that fateful inscription on a queen's ring, carrying her
toward her own destiny."
